AT-FL-83N BLANKING REPLACEMENT EGR Bypass BMW
This kit is designed to completely remove the EGR system from the engine, together with the EGR cooler (if equipped) and the EGR thermostat.
Professionally made stainless steel replacement (bypass) of EGR exhaust gas recirculation valve. TIG welded plate and planned to ensure perfect adhesion to the intake manifold. It has also been CNC milled to prevent blowing at the connection with the collector.
The kit includes an exhaust manifold plug laser cut from stainless steel with a gasket.
Material: stainless steel.
In addition, the kit includes end caps for exhaust gas cooler (EGR) pipes, allowing complete disassembly of the radiator together with the EGR thermostat. One end cap has a vent screw that allows venting of the cooling system.
The exhaust gas recirculation valve cooler is a very simple device, usually in the form of a tube through which flue gas flows through thin channels, which are eventually to reach the EGR valve. They are surrounded by a jacket under which liquid from the cooling system flows around them. This is a very emergency element, the problem is exhaust fumes, which have strong caustic properties, which negatively affects the delicate, even filigree elements of the radiator and the walls of the channels made of aluminum or stainless steel. This often causes the EGR cooler to unseal. The second most common failure is the exhaust gas reaching the cooling system causing another type of problem – exhaust gas blow-in.

1x Cover for exhaust manifold with gasket,
EGR valve connection gasket with intake manifold,
6x Mounting screws with washers,
1x aluminum end cap for the EGR cooler supply hose (allowing complete removal of the EGR cooler)
1x aluminum end cap for the EGR cooler outlet hose with bleed screw and O-ring (allowing complete removal of the EGR cooler)
