The purpose of the EGR valve is to stop the exhaust from entering the intake manifold. After installation, the signals indicating damage to the EGR valve disappear.
After blinding, the engine’s culture significantly improves (power and dynamics return) and prevents future failures and carbon deposits in the intake system.

COMMENTS:
The end cap DOES NOT replace the EGR valve, it is mounted between the valve and the manifold.
