After installation, the signals indicating damage to the EGR valve disappear.
After blinding, the engine’s culture significantly improves (power and dynamics return) and prevents future failures and carbon deposits in the intake system.

COMMENTS:
In the case of CF3 compliant engines, i.e. 1.9 JTD 110.111 HP and 2.4 JTD 140.150 HP versions, plugging the EGR valve (stepper motor controlled valve) should be associated with disabling its operation in the engine controller.
Plugging the EGR in the CF3 engine will cause a distortion of the air flow expected by the controller (no exhaust emissions and a greater mass of air measured by the flow meter) and the engine control light will illuminate, and thus power loss and emergency mode.
Turning off the EGR in the controller is carried out by reading the content of the controller, modifying performance maps and programming the controller again. This operation is practically the same as during chip tuning.
“Chipping” the car, it is advisable to immediately turn off and blind the EGR, because the engine dynamics is increased, the response to the accelerator pedal, which means that the EGR itself does not “keep up” to close with rapid acceleration and we observe increased smoking, and momentary power fluctuations and moment.
